Community
Independence
GROUP Matters focuses on:
- Community social and recreation options – providing support, as needed, to attend community social and recreational events offered in the community
- Building supported independent living skills (shopping, cooking, laundry, budgeting)
- Building pre-employment skills through planning, activities and volunteer opportunities
- Providing a safe and fun environment to gain and practice social skills with staff supported interactions and problem solving.
GROUP Matters runs Monday to Saturday with days and times tailored to meet your individual needs.
Individuals accessing this service are typically funded through Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD)
