Community Access
Facilitates community integration and social connection. Whether it is becoming involved in recreational or educational activities, joining community clubs and organizations, breaking down barriers to accessibility, becoming a volunteer, exploring art, culture or any other aspect of life that makes for a meaningful day, support is available through ASC’s program.
Inclusive Supports
As part of a blended 24-hour lifestyle and service; as a stand-alone service; or through the GROUP Matters program, ASC provides inclusive Community Access supports to assist people in developing skills towards:
- Establishing and maintaining relationships and developing natural supports
- Discovering personal interests
- Pursuing their social, recreational, educational, and cultural interests
- Being a volunteer and contributing to their communities
GROUP Matters is a dynamic, group-based program that helps individuals build life skills, connect with others, and explore new opportunities. Offered in Olds, Airdrie, and Strathmore, it blends social, recreational, and pre-employment activities in a supportive and flexible environment—opening the door to greater independence and personal growth.
