Accredited Supports to the Community is grateful for the support of Mountain View Power (MVP) for the $4,700 MVP Community Grant towards the purchase of a Hoyer Lift.
This lift, as a shared resource to be used by many participants across ASC’s group-based community access and respite programs, will support safe transfers and therefore open options for adults and children to access the full opportunities available through the community of Olds and ASC programs.
Additionally, the lift will be used short term to support adults served by ASC in a residential group home when they will be temporarily displaced from their home during a four to six month renovation project.
The Hoyer Lift was recently purchased and is already in use. Accredited Supports to the Community thanks the grant evaluation committee at MVP for selecting our organization’s submission as one of the projects selected during the Spring 2026 intake. ASC is proud to be a recipient of part of the $36,993 in grant funding distributed by MVP.
