Working at Accredited Supports is a family legacy for Sharmon. Her mother (now retired) worked for the agency for many years. Sharmon oversees much of the behind-the-scenes stuff that makes ASC chug along. Things like payroll, technology and records all sit under Sharmon’s purview. What keeps her motivated is the different tasks that she undertakes and that no two days are alike.
As a rural dweller, but also a lover of the freedom and independence, Sharmon lists her car as her “can’t do without” item. Travel is high on the things Sharmon likes to do when not working. She also adores her kids and grandkids, and camping when they can get away. A self-described country music fan, Sharmon also likes movies about famous people, particularly musicians. However, on any given Sunday you will find her having coffee with her husband and pottering around her house.
